City Sidewalks Birthday Card

I have a friend whose birthday is December 25th. I am thinking ahead and made her a card using the City Sidewalks  paper pack and the Wise Guy  Birthday stamp. I think it is subtle Christmas yet all birthday!

I have a co-worker who has a birthday next week so I wanted to get a card made for her. This is a fun and simple card using Kraft cardstock, water color paint, the Flower Market Cartridge and Finding the Word stamp set. I really like how it turned out. You can purchase all supplies here .

Sympathy Card

Today I realized that I am out of sympathy cards in my stash. I used Cranberry  and Black cardstock along with the retired Honeycomb embossing folder. I used the Artiste and Flower Market Cricut Cartridges to make the flowers and sentiment.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers. I hope you have a blessed day with your friends and family. This morning before the hustle and bustle I decided to play with the retired paper pack Florence. I used the Wise Guy stamp set along with the new Shimmer Brush  for the frosting. I stamped in black and Poppy ink.

Oh Deer! 3-D Card

I am trying to make Christmas cards for all the teachers in our building. I also wanted to make some fun 3-D cards at the same time. I found this great blog  that gives detailed instructions on how to make 3-D cards. I created this card using the Oh Deer! paper pack and the Woodland Wishes thin cuts and stamps. I also embossed the white stars. I wanted to emboss them in gold but could not find my gold embossing powder this morning!

Today my craft room was completely cleaned and is free from 6 weeks of drywall dust! Today I played with the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge  and the following cardstock colors: SeaGlass Raspberry Whisper Slate

Jingle & Mingle

We are hosting a neighborhood Christmas party and I wanted to make some unique invitations. I used the Close to My Heart City Sidewalk paper along with the Woodland Wishes  thin cuts and stamp. I used the CTMH Shimmer Brush   for the first time. What an AMAZING tool. It adds a hint of glitter and sparkle to your coloring or inking. I used it as accents on the trees. I also used the retired Frosty and Friends stamp set. The cutting directions for this card can be be found at My Paper Paradise .

Hello Card

I realized today that one of the  Swan Lake  patterned papers has fall themed words on it. I decided I had better use it up and get some cards made using it! I also used the Picture My Life card included in the paper pack to make this simple card. Hopefully after tonight I can get back into my craft room and get back to some more detailed cards. The Jeepers paper pack makes the perfect masculine birthday card. I paired it with the Flower Market Cartridge coordinating stamp set. I added 3 small white enamel gems .

General Card

This morning I played with some scraps and my Happy Thoughts  embossing folder. I had this cute little pink bird sitting on my table from a past project and embossed the Happy Thoughts embossing folder on Glacier cardstock . I also used Cocoa cardstock for the background. I am not sure when I will use this card but love how it turned out. Now is the time to start thinking about Christmas. If you need calendars , day planners , card kits  or more let me know. I am placing an order in the next day or two!

I need a sympathy card for a co-worker whose dad passed away. I used the Oh Deer!  paper pack along with Sea Glass  cardstock.

Surf's Up Birthday Card

Today was a quick birthday card as we are in the middle of priming and painting the basement. Carpet goes down on Thursday and we still have a long to-do list. I used the retired Surf's Up paper pack and Picture My Life cards to create a simple birthday card.

Hello Friend Card

This is the last card for a card pack for Christmas. I am excited to be done almost two months early! I used Swan Lake  and the retired Hello friend stamp set. I copied the Swan Lake card from the Seasonal Expression.

Friendship Card

Even though Halloween is over the Jeepers   paper pack still can be used for cards. I used the Jeepers paper pack and the Enjoy the Little Things stamp set. It is a perfect every day friendship card.

I am working on a card set for Simon's teacher for Christmas. I am using the Swan Lake  paper pack for all of the cards. It is such a versatile paper pack with a wide variety of patterns and colors. I used the Friend stamp set from a constant campaign a few months ago. I also added Grey Enamel Gems  to give the card a little pop.

Christmas Card

The retired Reindeer Bells stamp set is the perfect stamp set with the City Sidewalk  paper pack. I cut the front of the card apart so the Merry Everything  shows. This will be a great Christmas card for a co-worker.

Swan Lake Birthday Card

I finally had a chance to sit down and play with paper tonight after dinner. The boys went off to a hockey game and I worked on Christmas gifts. This card is from Swan Lake  paper pack and an old Stamp of the Month. This is going in a card pack to Simon's teacher for a Christmas gift.

Full of Thanks

Today's Throwback Thursday uses the retired Enchantment Fundamental paper pack. The sentiment is cut at 2" and from the Flower Market  Cricut Cartridge. The 3 gold gems are retired also. This month I am sending a Thank You card every day to someone was has had a positive effect in my life.

Today's card was created using Pathfinding and the Art Philosophy cartridge. I have been in the mood for circles lately so this is what my circle idea turned into! I pulled the glacier color out of the Pathfinding paper pack to use for cardstock. 

Happy Birthday Card

I am working on a card pack for Simon's teacher for Christmas. I am creating all the cards out of the Swan Lake paper pack. Today I used Swan Lake and the Wise Guy  stamp set along with some white enamel gems. This is an easel card which is so easy to make. The card base is cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 2 1/4" and 5 1/2". It is folded to create a mountain. The card face is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Here is the tutorial I used for measurements.
