Brushed Card #TBT

Today's card is a little old and a little new! I used scraps I had left over from the Brushed paper pack along with the Springtime Wishes stamp set, my watercolor paints and quatrefoil embossing folder. I love the feeling of using up the old scraps I have laying around.

La Vie En Rose  is the perfect paper pack for birthday cards. I created this birthday card for my sister-in-laws whose birthday is next week. I also used the Findings the Words stamp set. The black buttons are from a retired embellishment pack from Close to My Heart. 

Regetta Card

The Regetta paper pack is so versatile and contains so many different patterns. I used a retired Quick Card stamp set. The card base is Glacier  carstock and then I used 2 different patterned papers from Regetta. I stamped in Flaxen ink and added some glacier extra thick twine .

You Have My Heart

Today was quick card day! It is half days for my son and I have many hours of projects and only a few hours to do them in! I used the retired Avonlea Picture My Life cards, scrap of cotton candy cardstock, whisper thick twine and white sequins.

Wonderful You Card-March 27

  Coloring is currently very popular for people of all ages. I have loved coloring for years and love to color backgrounds to create my own cards. I find it relaxing and truly personalizes the card for the recipient. Georgie Baby Card

The CTMH paper pack Georgie  is perfect for baby cards, layouts and home decor. In order to make this cute baby card I also used the Everday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge for the animals.  This card is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" and I created a shadow box type frame for the card.  Have a great Saturday and make memories with your friends and family. 

I'd Be Lost Without You-Regatta

   I finally ordered the Regatta  paper pack, coordinating stamp set, My Anchor  along with the coordinating Thin Cuts .  I love the paper pack, stamps and thin cuts. I used Poppy and Black  ink   for the stamping.  This will be the perfect card to slip in my husband's lunch this week! He is an amazing man who does so much for our family. I learned with him out of town the last two weeks that I really would be lost without him!

Lollydoodle Easter Card-TBT

Today I decided the retired paper pack of Lollydoodle was perfect to create an Easter card. I used the Herringbone technique to create the egg. I used the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers  to create the egg. I also used the Quatrefoil embossing folder  from Close to My Heart for the Leaf Green cardstock.

 The Regatta paper pack is so versatile. Today I used it with the retired stamp set "Remarkable Wreath" to create the wreath and sentiment. I stamped the wreath with Saffron, Chocolate and Glacier ink . I also added Glacier twine and Enamel & Glitter Duos Blue Dots .

Fox Birthday Card

I have used up most of the Zoe paper pack but had enough left to create this cute Birthday card. I used the Spring Critters stamp set and the Cricut Artiste cartridge. I cut the bow at 1". I colored the fox with the Close to My Heart watercolor pencils and Glacier ink to stamp the sentiment.

Tweety Card

This pretty little bird from Sunshine Birdies  is perfect with the paper from La Vie En Rose paper pack. I colored the birdy with my ShinHan markers. I am not sure what I will use this card for, but it is perfect for Thank You, Birthday or a just because card.

Urban Card

Today I made a simple card using Urban . I used scrap of Peacock and Poppy to create the banner and "The Best Part of the Day" is from a Picture My Life card. I am hoping to be feeling better in the next couple of days so I can spend some more time create fancy fold cards!

You Make Me Happy

Today I combined two stamp sets. The March Stamp of the Month " Sunshine Birdies " and "Your Own Kind of Wonderful ". I stamped the butterflies in Pixie and Peacock ink. I then added some Green Shimmer Trim . I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge  to cut the square and then colored the sentiment with ShinHan markers.  Have a great Saturday.

Camping Card

This week has been crazy as my husband has been out of town. I had a few minutes of quite time this morning before work and used some retired Olive cardstock and the Woodgrain Embossing Folder. I stamped using the Camping Delights  and Cocoa ink. I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and great weekend!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Today I made a fun card using the Zoe paper pack and my Cricut Artfully Sent Cartridge. I used a consultant only stamp an a scrap of green glitter paper. I cut the PML Card at 4".

Always Be Your Own Kind of Wonderful

Today is all about mix and match stamps! I used both the Sunshine Birdies and Your Beautiful Self  stamp sets. I used my ShinHan markers to color the birds. The scallops are cut out using the Art Philosophy Cartridge  from Close to My Heart. The card background is made using the gray paper from the Paper Fundamental Assortment-Basic. I added a line of black shimmer trim to give the birdie a pop! Have a fabulous Wednesday. We are almost done with the week! 

Hello Card-Day 75

I have made 75 cards so far this year! This week I am challenging myself to use the stamp sets that came with my numerous Cricut Cartridges . Today's card is using the La Vi En Rose paper pack and the Cricut Artistry cartridge. I also added some black and gold ribbon  and Treasured Puffies .

Today's card uses the March Stamp of the Month, Sunshine Birdies , my ShinHan markers, Black Shimmer Trim . I used the new Peacock  cardstock  and my Woodgrain embossing folder for the background.

Washi Card-Sunday March 13

This morning was all about washi tape! I love how easy it use. I just used strips of the Limeade Washi tape and cut one of the Picture My Life cards and added a sentiment .

Chalk It Up Thank You Card

This coming week is para educator week in the schools. I have the most amazing para educator in the library and I would not be successful at my job without her. I created this Thank You card for her using the retired Chalk It Up paper and the Teacher Appreciation stamp set.

Charlotte Love Card

My husband will be out of town again next week and I want to have a couple of cards to stick in his suitcase. I made this card using the Charlotte paper pack. The "Love" Picture My Life cards is one of the PML's in the paper pack. I also added Whisper Thick Twine  and sequins from the Sequins Silver Assortment.

#TBT Thinking of You

Today's Thinking Of You card is a mix of many things. The Springtime Wishes  stamp set and thin cuts, I used the Cricut Artise cartridge   and the retired stamp set Card Chatter. I used the CTMH watercolor paints  to paint on watercolor paper before I stamped. The paper is from the Surf's Up paper pack from a couple of summers ago. It was the perfect background for this card. 

Happy Easter

Spending 30 minutes with coffee at my craft table is just what I need to get ready for a great day. I have created numerous cards and layouts using Penelope and am down to scraps so wanted to create this fun Easter card. I cut out the egg from the Art Philsophy cartridge and used the negative to create the egg. I also used two small pieces of washi tape  on the corner. 

Quick Thank You Card

Today was a long day and I did not get any time until now to create! I need a thank you card for someone who helped me work my library book fair tonight. I used some retired paper along with a Picture My Life Card and the "Thank You" sentiment from Springtime Wishes  stamp set.

Balloon Just Because Card

Today I wanted to play with my watercolor paints again. I am not as impressed with how it turned out, maybe I will say my 9 year old made it! I used the retired Balloon Ride paper pack, Champagne card stock, the Balloon Wishes  stamp set and the Enamel & Glitter Dous Blue Dots.

Congratulations Card-Penelope

   I have a friend who recently announced she was pregnant with her 3rd! I thought the Penelope  paper pack and Springtime Critters stamp set was the perfect combination to make a fun Congratulations card for her. I also used some of the Limade Washi tape and the Enamel & Glitter Duos Blue Dots.  All supplies for this card can be ordered here . I hope you have a fabulous Saturday! 

Tag Card

One of my co-workers today is having surgery so I wanted to give her a good luck/get well card. I decided to create a tag card. I used my Art Philosophy and Artfully Sent cartridges  to create this card. The butterfly is from a card I did last month. (Save all those scraps and negative cuts!) I will use a white chalk marker to write on the back of the black tag.  I hope you have a great Friday and fabulous weekend creating memories with your friends and families. 

#TBT Blossom Friendship Card

  In honor of Throw Back Thursday I used one of my favorite paper packs, Blossom, to create this friendship card. The stamp set is a Beautiful Friendship  and I added Whisper Thick Twine. I stamped in Smoothie ink to give it some pop.  Have a fabulous Thursday and do not forget to send someone a card today!

Penelope Box Card

The Penelope paper pack has been so fun to work with to make spring cards. I decided to use Penelope and the March Stamp of the Month to create this fun box card ( tutorial ). I did change my box size to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" but otherwise followed the directions! Spring is almost here in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully this card will brighten someone's day!    The March stamp of the month is a fun whimsical bird stamp set that is available for only $5 with any $50 purchase.

I have spent the past hour working on a beautiful box card. However, I am still working on coloring the embellishments and I have to go coach STEAM Club so for today I created this simply HAPPY card using scraps of the CTMH Paper Fundamentals and a retired stamp set. This will be great for a male birthday card. Tomorrow I have more time to craft before work so will finish the box card then!
