365 Days of Cards

Today was a busy day. I am in the middle of finals, have a bad head cold and Simon had baseball tonight! I had fun making this Father's Day card though using the following Close to My Heart products: Urban paper pack Urban Complements  Cocoa Cardstock The Best Dad Ever Stamp Set Black Ink Colonial White Ink

Our babysitter/house sitter is graduating from high school next week so I made her this Congrats!  card using the Cricut Artistry cartridge. I also used Poppy and Black cardstock along with some retired black enamel stars.

Today a friend go accepted to a surgical tech program at one of our local community colleges. As a busy mom of 2 she has worked hard this past year with all the pre-requisites. I am excited for her new journey next year. This card was made with all scraps! Black cardstock, Lagoon cardstock, a Congrats  I already had cut out from the Cricut Artistry cartridge and black star embellishments. I love quick cards that come together using scraps from my table!

Today I had to make a card for my friend who lost her dog. She has had the dog longer than her husband or kids! He was the ring bearer in their wedding. I thought this card would be perfect for her. I used the following CTMH products: Georgie paper pack Cricut Artistry Cartridge Whisper Thick Twine

This morning I could not sleep so I got up and used my Botanical Background stamp set to create this fun Thanks  cards. I colored with my ShinHan markers . I finished it off with the black and gold ribbon   and Finding the Words stamp set. Happy Friday!!!

Today's Throw Back Thursday card used some of the retired Pro Player paper pack. I used the new Birthday Calligraphy   stamp set (available for $2.95).  Pro Player is perfect for masculine cards. 

My husband needed a card for a co-worker who is celebrating 20 years at the company this week. I used the Urban paper pack and complements along with the Cricut Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges.

Today I used one of my favorite tools, the Edge Distresser , and the Magical paper pack. I also added a piece of Cranberry cardstock and white twine . The stamp set is retired, but any sentiment would look great in the speech bubble!

Today's card I use the Happy Times  paper pack that is free this month with any $60 purchase. I used the strips from the top of the patterned paper and 1" strips that I cut from other paper. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge  and a retired hostess stamp set from a few years ago.

Today I created a 4"x 4" card using the Paper Fundamentals Enchantment Assortment. I used my Art Philosophy cartridge and the retired Card Chatter-Birthday stamp. Have a great Sunday evening.

A co-worker's father was just diagnosed with cancer so I need to send her a card. The Florence paper pack was perfect. I love this paper. I also used my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the Happy To Be Friends   stamp set. I stamped in Cocoa ink and added a small gem from the Bling Gems Gold Assortment. Happy Saturday!

My husband needed a card for a co-worker who is moving to a different department. I decided to play with the Calypso  paper pack to create this fun card. I inked everything in Lagoon ink and added some Glacier twine  and some retired sequins. 

Father's Day is just around the corner and I thought it would be fun to play with the retired Nevermore (Halloween) paper pack. The grays are perfect for any occasion as they have just a small hint of Gypsy and Sunset. I used the Cricut Artistry cartridge to cut the Happy Father's Day sentiment. 

Today's card comes from the retired Laughing Lola paper pack and a retired stamp from a few years ago. I stamped the Gypsy cardstock in Gypsy ink and in person it is a great effect. Stay tuned tomorrow on how to turn fall paper into an all seasons card.

Today's retired paper pack is from last May's National Scrapbooking Special, Taste of Summer . I embossed the black cardstock with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder. I used the Circut Artistry cartridge to cut the Happy Birthday sentiment.

My nephew graduates from high school this week. I created this graduation card using the retired Pro Player paper pack and Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut the globe. Pro Player was the perfect masculine paper.

Just when social life gets boring because there are no more weddings or baby's, we all start turning 40!! We have a male friend turning 40 today so I made him this simple birthday card. I used the following Close to My Heart supplies: Black Cardstock Red Glitter paper White twine White cardstock 

This next week I am going to be using all retired products. Today I made a card using the retired Frosted paper pack and the Cricut Artiste cartridge . It was quick and simple! 

I had fun creating this Happy Birthday  card. I created the bow using the Cricut Artiste Cartridge  cartridge and cut it at 3". I used the following Close to My Heart supplies: Magical paper pack Birthday Calligraphy stamp Red Glitter paper Black Cardstock  Black Ink 

A little old and a little new came together to create this fun Celebrate card. I used the retired paper pack Brushed, my watercolor paints  and Cocoa and Cotton Candy Ink to create this fun card. The ribbon is the retired color ready ribbon and the ribbon pull is also retired from Close to My Heart. Happy Thursday!!!!

Calypso and Beach Life  go together perfectly to create this fun card. I plan on using this for a pick me up card for a co-worker. We are so close to the end of the school year, but we all need a reminder that summer is right around the corner!

One of my longtime friend's is turning 40 next week. I used the Sangria paper pack to create this fun book pop up card. The inside of the card I used the May stamp of the month, Celebrate with Cake . I cut the cake on front using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.  I used this tutorial  by Di Barnes to create the card. It came together fairy quickly after watching the video. 

Today's card is simple! I used Poppy and Fern ink  along with the Happy Times stamp set available this month only. I also used some gold sequins .

I am having fun with the Happy Times paper pack,. My brother-in-laws 40th Birthday is next week so I decided to create him a fun-filled birthday card! He is a police officer so I thought it would be perfect to use the Treats of Friendship  donut to make the zero!

I am having fun on Thursday's making cards using retired paper! Today's card is using Laughing Lola along with the Cricut Artristy cartridge from Close to My Heart. I am not sure yet who I will give this card to, but it is fun! 

The new Calypso  paper pack will be perfect for scrapping our SeaWorld pictures. However, it also is great for colorful spring cards. I made this Thank You  card for a customer who placed an order. In addition to Calypso I used Whisper Thick Twine  and Enamel & Glitter Duos Blue Dots .  

The Florence paper pack is perfect for Thank You cards. I love the rich colors of Peacock and Poppy . I also added some Coral  shimmer trim to make the sentiment pop. I cut the shape out of my Art Philosophy Cartridge. Stay tuned tomorrow for a fancy fold card.
