365 Days of Cards

I spent most of February sick with a round of colds so I didn't get to create much. This week I am finally feeling better and paired the February stamp of the month with the wonderful Dreamin' Big paper pack. I love how it turned out.

I absolutely love the February Stamp of the Month, Eater Bunny . I finally had time to sit down and create a fun card tonight. I used the Easter Bunny stamp set and the Some Kind of Wonderful paper pack. I used my ShinHan markers to color the Easter bunny.

Today I decided the retired paper pack of Lollydoodle was perfect to create an Easter card. I used the Herringbone technique to create the egg. I used the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers  to create the egg. I also used the Quatrefoil embossing folder  from Close to My Heart for the Leaf Green cardstock. 

Spending 30 minutes with coffee at my craft table is just what I need to get ready for a great day. I have created numerous cards and layouts using Penelope and am down to scraps so wanted to create this fun Easter card. I cut out the egg from the Art Philsophy cartridge and used the negative to create the egg. I also used two small pieces of washi tape  on the corner. 

Easter will be here before we know it. I am having fun playing with the Penelope paper pack. I used the Cricut Cartridge Aristry for the rabbit and the HAPPY is a negative from another card. I am trying hard to use washi tape more often and used the green from the Limeade Washi Pack . This is a perfect Easter card to use next month.

I typed up the blog post for this card earlier today, but somehow it disappeared!  Even though Easter is more than a month away, it is never to early to start making cards. I had a piece of watercolor paper I had painted last week sitting there that I cut into a tag using the Art Philosophy cartridge. After that I decided the Penlope paper pack needed a bunny to declare an eggs-tra special day! The stamp set is from the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge. I had fun creating this Easter card using the Penelope paper packet, water color paints, ShinHan markers, Spring Critters stamp set and my Art Philosophy cartridge. So much fun in one little card! I know it is early for Easter but I was playing with my new Close to My Heart water color paints and wanted to see how they worked with stamping.
