365 Days of Cards

This morning I woke up early and enjoyed some crafting and coffee! Two of my favorite Saturday things. I used the Oh Deer! paper and the Woodland Wishes Thin Cuts and Stamps to create this fabulous winter card. It could be used for Christmas, Birthday, Thank You, or just a Hello card. I used the new Sea Glass cardstock and ink and Fern  cardstock and ink with the thin cuts and stamps.

Christmas is coming up quicker than I care to admit. I thought the Oh Deer!  paper pack and the Woodland Wishes stamp and thin cuts worked great with gold shimmer trim . I stamped MERRY in Raspberry ink to give a  little pop to the card. 

The  Oh Deer!  paper pack is an amazing winter paper pack from Close to My Heart. Coordinating it with the Woodland  Wishes thin cuts and stamps creates a fun and whimsical card. I used Sea Glass cardstock along with a retired red enamel dot for Rudolph's nose. When Sea Glass ink becomes available I may stamp the deer, but I am growing rather fond of them being plain! I love crafting! That is not a surprise to many of you. The reasons I love to craft are all personal. I love to send cards at random times to brighten people's day. I love to acknowledge special events in my family and friends lives. I find it very relaxing and need some of my own down time and this is how I get it each day. Finally, I remind myself if it is something I enjoy doing how can I not make the time. Anyone can find the time to make cards. They do not have to complicated. These there cards all have the same base pieces and I completed all 3 of them in 30 minutes.  The bases are made with a 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock that I embossed and then a 3" x 4 1/14" piece of patterned paper. I am loving everything about Regatta  and the coordinating stamp sets and thin cuts. This fun card was made using Pomegranate cardstock, Sapphire, Poppy, Glacier, Black and Saffron ink  was used to stamp everything. Thin cuts made this card quick to put together.

   I finally ordered the Regatta  paper pack, coordinating stamp set, My Anchor  along with the coordinating Thin Cuts .  I love the paper pack, stamps and thin cuts. I used Poppy and Black  ink   for the stamping.  This will be the perfect card to slip in my husband's lunch this week! He is an amazing man who does so much for our family. I learned with him out of town the last two weeks that I really would be lost without him!

I finally purchased the Thin Cuts  Close to My Heart began offering last year. I was not sure why I would need them since I own a Cricut, but I am SOLD! It was so easy to cut out the flowers and leaves and they fit perfectly with the stamps.  I used the retired Lollydoodle paper pack to create this cute thank you card.  Grab your Springtime Wishes stamp set and thin cuts today.
