365 Days of Cards

Happy Thanksgiving to my American readers. I hope you have a blessed day with your friends and family. This morning before the hustle and bustle I decided to play with the retired paper pack Florence. I used the Wise Guy stamp set along with the new Shimmer Brush  for the frosting. I stamped in black and Poppy ink.

I have seen the twisted card all over Pintrest and Facebook. I found a great tutorial  that showed me easily and quickly how to make this Birthday card for my son's teacher. It was not as complicated as I thought even though after the fact I realized I not only didn't have the right size envelope, I am not sure how easy it will be for her to set up! I had a little bit of time before I left for work. I am loving the new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart. I also have really liked how it coordinates with the Florence paper pack. Making a pop up card gets easier every time you do it! Instructions for this great card can be found here . Tomorrow I will showcase some of the new paper available in the Seasonal Expressions. 

The Florence paper pack and the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart compliment each other perfectly. I created this beautiful Birthday  card for my sister. The sentiment is from a stamp set available only with the Flower Market Cartridge.

The retired You Mean the World To Me  stamp set has the perfect Happy Birthday sentiment to go with the Florence paper pack. Florence is perfect for card making as it is elegant and full of color. I created this Happy Birthday card today to use this Fall when I need a birthday card.

I have not used my watercolor  paints as much as I should so when I was going through my stamp sets and found the Surf's Up Workshop on the Go stamp set I decided it was perfect to create a simple water card using three colors in the watercolor paints and Lagoon  and Honey ink. I definitely recommend using the watercolor paper   from Close to My Heart when painting as it does not curl up! Have a fantastic Monday!

The Florence paper pack compliments perfectly with the Classy Doily stamp set. This stamp set coordinates with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. I used Poppy ink with the stamp set.

Today's card uses the Florence paper pack and the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge (retires July 31, 2016). This card is actually a gift card holder and has a slot on the inside to hold a gift card. I hope everyone had a nice 4th of July. We are tired but had a great weekend. My husband needs some Thank You  cards for work. They need to be generic enough for anyone. Florence  is the perfect paper packet for this job! The card is simple yet thoughtful.

I need a thank you card for some students to sign to send to a Grant I received this year to purchase Ipads for the library. This 5 x 7 card using the CTMH Florence paper packet is perfect. I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge  to create the sentiment square along with a retired stamp set Thank You . Have a great Tuesday!

This morning I decided to make a deconstructed card. There is power in cutting something complete into piece!!! I took my card base and cut a 1" strip and 1 1/4" strip off. I then made the 1" strip 3" long. I used it to attach to the two long pieces back together. It was fun! I used the Florence paper pack, Poppy Thick Twine and a retired stamp set for the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card but shows through the deconstructed front. Happy Wednesday!!!

A co-worker's father was just diagnosed with cancer so I need to send her a card. The Florence paper pack was perfect. I love this paper. I also used my Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and the Happy To Be Friends   stamp set. I stamped in Cocoa ink and added a small gem from the Bling Gems Gold Assortment. Happy Saturday!

The Florence paper pack is perfect for Thank You cards. I love the rich colors of Peacock and Poppy . I also added some Coral  shimmer trim to make the sentiment pop. I cut the shape out of my Art Philosophy Cartridge. Stay tuned tomorrow for a fancy fold card.
