Happy Birthday Card

Image
Calypso and the new Wise Guy Birthday  stamp are a perfect combination for a fun birthday card. I used the Art Philosophy  Cricut Cartridge to cut the tag for the sentiment. I also used my ShinHan  alcohol markers to color the frosting. This month I will continue to showcase current product that is retiring (Calypso, Florence and Magical Paper Packs) and the new product that is now available!

Lollydoodle Best Wishes Card #TBT

Image
Today's Throwback Thursday card uses the old Lollydoodle paper packet and the retired Springtime Wishes stamp set and thin cuts. I cut the card with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.

3 Cards in 30 Minutes

Image
I love crafting! That is not a surprise to many of you. The reasons I love to craft are all personal. I love to send cards at random times to brighten people's day. I love to acknowledge special events in my family and friends lives. I find it very relaxing and need some of my own down time and this is how I get it each day. Finally, I remind myself if it is something I enjoy doing how can I not make the time. Anyone can find the time to make cards. They do not have to complicated. These there cards all have the same base pieces and I completed all 3 of them in 30 minutes.  The bases are made with a 2 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of cardstock that I embossed and then a 3" x 4 1/14" piece of patterned paper. I used the following supplies to embellish the cards: All supplies Close to My Heart: Regatta Paper pack  Sapphire Cardstock  Anchor My Way Stamps and Thin Cuts Regatta Complements   Sapphire Ink Black Ink Pomegranate Ink  Flaxen...

Skylark Card

Image
Skylark is a paper pack from a few years ago that I fell in love with. I still have many sheets of it left and need to start using it! I used Juniper cardstock for the base and then 2 pieces of Skylark and cut the Whisper circle from the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

Surf's Up "You are the Best" Card

Image
I am working on using up old paper and lowering my stash of paper! I used the retired Surf's Up paper and complements along with the current Finding the Words  stamp set. I cut the square for the sentiment from the Art Philosophy Cartridge at 3".

You Make Me Happy

Image
Today I combined two stamp sets. The March Stamp of the Month " Sunshine Birdies " and "Your Own Kind of Wonderful ". I stamped the butterflies in Pixie and Peacock ink. I then added some Green Shimmer Trim . I used the Art Philosophy Cartridge  to cut the square and then colored the sentiment with ShinHan markers.  Have a great Saturday.

Always Be Your Own Kind of Wonderful

Image
Today is all about mix and match stamps! I used both the Sunshine Birdies and Your Beautiful Self  stamp sets. I used my ShinHan markers to color the birds. The scallops are cut out using the Art Philosophy Cartridge  from Close to My Heart. The card background is made using the gray paper from the Paper Fundamental Assortment-Basic. I added a line of black shimmer trim to give the birdie a pop! Have a fabulous Wednesday. We are almost done with the week!

Tag Card

Image
One of my co-workers today is having surgery so I wanted to give her a good luck/get well card. I decided to create a tag card. I used my Art Philosophy and Artfully Sent cartridges  to create this card. The butterfly is from a card I did last month. (Save all those scraps and negative cuts!) I will use a white chalk marker to write on the back of the black tag.  I hope you have a great Friday and fabulous weekend creating memories with your friends and families.

Spring Card

Image
Spring is coming to Spokane. My bulbs have broken through the dirt and some of my ground cover has bloomed. I used a title from the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge , the Penelope paper pack  and limeade washi tape . I cut the frame that "Spring" is on from the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

Urban Thank You Card

Image
I am staying with my brother in law this week in Seattle for a conference and want to leave him a thank you note for allowing me to stay with him and drive me to and from the airport. The Urban paper pack is perfect along with the For a Friend  stamp and black shimmer trim . I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the tag.  If there is a stamp you liked and wished you had ordered from a prior Idea Book it may still be available. If it coordinates with a CTMH Cricut cartridge, the stamp set will always be available for sale.

50th Birthday Card-February 18

Image
A co-worker turns 50 this weekend! I love how the Artfully Sent cartridge makes card making quick and easy and allows you to make 3-D cards. I used the Charlotte paper packet for paper. The flowers on the front of the card were created using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The best part of the card is the inside! When she opens the card Over the Hill will pop out for her.

Happy Easter, February 16

Image
I typed up the blog post for this card earlier today, but somehow it disappeared!  Even though Easter is more than a month away, it is never to early to start making cards. I had a piece of watercolor paper I had painted last week sitting there that I cut into a tag using the Art Philosophy cartridge. After that I decided the Penlope paper pack needed a bunny to declare an eggs-tra special day! The stamp set is from the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge. I had fun creating this Easter card using the Penelope paper packet, water color paints, ShinHan markers, Spring Critters stamp set and my Art Philosophy cartridge. All supplies for this card can be ordered here .

Valentine's Day Card-February 14

Image
My last Valentine's Day card! I gave my husband a few cards in his lunch last week so I needed a card for today. I used old Close To My Heart paper from a Christmas pack a couple of years ago. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the Smoothie cardstock heart at 3 1/4". I hope you have an amazing Valentine's Day surrounded by friends and family.

Friendship Card-January 20

Image
This morning before work I got up early to enjoy some coffee and crafting time before my busy day begins. I made this quick Hello friend card to send to another librarian in the school district. I use scraps from the CTMH Paper Fundamentals line and cut the daisy using my Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  Have a fabulous Wednesday.

Hello Friend Card-January 11

Image
I used the  La Vie En Rose to make this "Hello friend" card. The card is 4 "x 4" and I cut the flower from the Art Philosophy Cartridge from Close to My Heart. It is Flower 4 at 2 3/4". I used the Friendship Wreath  stamp with Poppy ink. I also added a strip of gold shimmer trim  and a black button.
