Male Birthday Card

It is always nice to have simple masculine birthday cards. I used Sea Glass and Kraft cardstock along with the Wise Guy  birthday stamp.

I have a friend whose birthday is December 25th. I am thinking ahead and made her a card using the City Sidewalks  paper pack and the Wise Guy  Birthday stamp. I think it is subtle Christmas yet all birthday!

Swan Lake Birthday Card

I finally had a chance to sit down and play with paper tonight after dinner. The boys went off to a hockey game and I worked on Christmas gifts. This card is from Swan Lake  paper pack and an old Stamp of the Month. This is going in a card pack to Simon's teacher for a Christmas gift.

Jeepers  has so much color in it. The RAWR!! Picture My Life card is perfect to create a fun Birthday card.

Happy Birthday!

Jeepers is not only a great Fall/Halloween paper pack, it is also perfect for Birthday cards. I decided to use the Jeepers paper pack in conjunction with the Wise Guy  birthday stamp and the Artistry  cartridge. Our school nurses birthday is today and this will be perfect for her. Happy Tuesday.

I had a little bit of time before I left for work. I am loving the new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge from Close to My Heart. I also have really liked how it coordinates with the Florence paper pack. Making a pop up card gets easier every time you do it! Instructions for this great card can be found here . Tomorrow I will showcase some of the new paper available in the Seasonal Expressions.

For today's Throwback Thursday card I used the retired paper pack Urban and the corresponding complements to create this masculine birthday card.

Today's Throwback Thursday card does not go that far back! I am using the recently retired La Vie En Rose paper pack, the stamp set that goes with the new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge and some black and gold ribbon .  I previously made a drapery flower fold card and the directions are here . This card is perfect for birthday, first day of a new job, wedding. It is very versatile.

I have a couple of more word days before summer break. I also have a good friend whose birthday is this week. I pulled out what is left of my Penelope paper pack. I also added some blue enamel dots and inked everything in Honey ink.

Florence Birthday Card

May brings us 3 new paper packs from Close to My Heart.  This card is made from the new Florence paper pack and the May Stamp of the Month, Celebrate with Cake . I used Cocoa, Whisper and Peacock ink to create this card.  All month I will be highlighting the new Close to My Heart paper, along with paper from the Annual Inspiration and retired paper for Throw Back Thursdays!  Hope you had a great Monday.

50th Birthday Card-February 18

Image
A co-worker turns 50 this weekend! I love how the Artfully Sent cartridge makes card making quick and easy and allows you to make 3-D cards. I used the Charlotte paper packet for paper. The flowers on the front of the card were created using the Art Philosophy cartridge.  The best part of the card is the inside! When she opens the card Over the Hill will pop out for her.

Happy Birthday Card-January 25

My mom's birthday is coming up in early February so I wanted to be prepared. I was inspired by Close to My Heart Consultant, Tonya PoChing. I love the mini-roses from the January Stamp of the Month along with the coffee cup from the Cricut Artistry Cartridge and the new paper pack Penelope . I used Pixie and Cocoa Ink to stamp the roses and Pear Ink for the 2 leaves.
