365 Days of Cards

I need a Get Well card for a friend and thought the bright look of Penelope was perfect to cheer her up. I used the pocket cards that come with the paper pack for the layers and added some green triangles  to give the card some dimension.  I used the Feel Better   stamp for the sentiment.

I have a couple of more word days before summer break. I also have a good friend whose birthday is this week. I pulled out what is left of my Penelope paper pack. I also added some blue enamel dots and inked everything in Honey ink.

Spending 30 minutes with coffee at my craft table is just what I need to get ready for a great day. I have created numerous cards and layouts using Penelope and am down to scraps so wanted to create this fun Easter card. I cut out the egg from the Art Philsophy cartridge and used the negative to create the egg. I also used two small pieces of washi tape  on the corner. 

The March Stamp of the Month is so springy! It is a perfect match for the Penelope  paper. Today I combined them to create this card. Don't forget this month's CTMH special is buy 2 stamp sets get 1 free!

   I have a friend who recently announced she was pregnant with her 3rd! I thought the Penelope  paper pack and Springtime Critters stamp set was the perfect combination to make a fun Congratulations card for her. The Penelope paper pack has been so fun to work with to make spring cards. I decided to use Penelope and the March Stamp of the Month to create this fun box card ( tutorial ). I did change my box size to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" but otherwise followed the directions! Spring is almost here in the Pacific Northwest and hopefully this card will brighten someone's day!    The March stamp of the month is a fun whimsical bird stamp set that is available for only $5 with any $50 purchase. 

I like to send a card to new customers or customers who have not ordered anything from me in awhile. However, I like to leave them blank so the customer has a card to send to someone. This card I made from the Penelope paper pack and the Artfully Sent cartridge. 

Spring is coming to Spokane. My bulbs have broken through the dirt and some of my ground cover has bloomed. I used a title from the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge , the Penelope paper pack  and limeade washi tape . I cut the frame that "Spring" is on from the Art Philosophy Cartridge. 

Easter will be here before we know it. I am having fun playing with the Penelope paper pack. I used the Cricut Cartridge Aristry for the rabbit and the HAPPY is a negative from another card. I am trying hard to use washi tape more often and used the green from the Limeade Washi Pack . This is a perfect Easter card to use next month.

The advantage of having my craft room and laundry room in the same room is that when I "fluff" the dryer I am forced to wait and so I have to craft! This morning while waiting I create this card using the Penelope paper packet and the Close to My Heart Artistry cartridge. I also used the Blue Dots and Washi Tape. I typed up the blog post for this card earlier today, but somehow it disappeared!  Even though Easter is more than a month away, it is never to early to start making cards. I had a piece of watercolor paper I had painted last week sitting there that I cut into a tag using the Art Philosophy cartridge. After that I decided the Penlope paper pack needed a bunny to declare an eggs-tra special day! The stamp set is from the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge. I had fun creating this Easter card using the Penelope paper packet, water color paints, ShinHan markers, Spring Critters stamp set and my Art Philosophy cartridge. I am having so much fun creating cards every day. I am attempting to use more of the tools, products and techniques that I love. For this card I used the new Penelope paper pack, Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and stamps and Glitter Duos Blue Dots . 

So much fun in one little card! I know it is early for Easter but I was playing with my new Close to My Heart water color paints and wanted to see how they worked with stamping. My mom's birthday is coming up in early February so I wanted to be prepared. I was inspired by Close to My Heart Consultant, Tonya PoChing. I love the mini-roses from the January Stamp of the Month along with the coffee cup from the Cricut Artistry Cartridge and the new paper pack Penelope . I used Pixie and Cocoa Ink to stamp the roses and Pear Ink for the 2 leaves.
