365 Days of Cards

Today is a quick card as I have my last day of work for the summer! I created a card to give to my husband next week in his suitcase while he is gone. I used the following CTMH products: Cricut Artiste Black Cardstock Cotton Candy Cardstock Quatrefoil Embossing Folder

Good day sunshine!!! Georgie  from Close to My Heart is a very versatile paper pack with all the colors in the paper. I used some of the paper and my Beach Life  stamp set along with Juniper and Poppy ink to create this fun card.

My nephew's birthday party is tomorrow night and I thought the Artfully Sent  cartridge would make a perfect card. I used some old Bo Bunny paper I had to create this fun card. 

I have had so much fun with the  Zoe  paper pack. I am almost out and have loved scrapping and card making with it. I used the following CTMH products: Zoe paper pack Finding the Words Color-Ready Trinkets Wooden Shapes Black Ink White Twine

Yesterday was jam packed with activities and today is going to be the same. I only had about 10 minutes this morning before I had to get going. My son is going to Camp Lutherhaven in a week and I want to sneak a card in his suitcase. The retired Chalk it Up paper pack and the current My Childhood Picture My Life card is the perfect camp card. I hope he has a RAD time!

I don't send 4th of July cards as we are normally two busy playing in the summer!!! However, with the weather cooler I decided to make a couple of fun patriotic cards. This first one uses retired paper, Paper Fundamentals  and both my Cricut Artbooking and Artistry cartridges. Happy Saturday.

This is the perfect celebration or Independence Day card. I love making shaker cards and they really are not the hard with the right supplies. I used a White Daisy Spinner card and cut the spinning circle out of it so I had the perfect square. I then filled a flip flap with star cutouts and adhered it to the inside of the card. Throw Back Thursday goes way back to the Dakota paper pack from Close to My Heart. I create a simple, male friendly card using the Cricut Artistry cartridge. Have a great Thursday!

Today's fun card is all retired products except for the ink  and ribbon . I used the retired Laughing Lola and a retired Hostess Reward stamp to create this fun card. I also used my corner rounder to add some shape to the card.

The Charlotte paper pack from the last Annual Inspirations makes the most beautiful Happy Birthday  cards. I used 3 pieces of the Charlotte paper pack and one of the Picture My Life cards that I stamped Happy Birthday  on.

I have a couple of more word days before summer break. I also have a good friend whose birthday is this week. I pulled out what is left of my Penelope paper pack. I also added some blue enamel dots and inked everything in Honey ink.

I found out Friday that I friend of mine found a new teaching position in our district. I am very excited for her and want to send her a quick Congratulations  type card. I used the retired Chalk it Up paper pack, a retired stamp set and my Cricut Artbooking cartridge to create this fun card.

The first day of summer break is upon us and we have been busy and have a busy weekend ahead. I only had a few minutes to make a card and needed a card for my mother-in-laws birthday tomorrow. I decided to go simple and create a silhouette style flamingo card. I used the Tickled Pink thin cuts and Calypso paper pack to create this card.

Summer is just around the corner! Today is the last day of school and I only have to work a couple of days a week for the next two week. I wanted to make a fun summer card to start summer off right! I used the Calypso  paper packet and the Beach Life stamp set. I also embossed the castle to give the card a little more pop.  Happy Friday!

The Charlotte paper packet has been so versatile that I had to use for Throwback Thursday to create this simple Happy Birthday  card. I used the current Finding the Words  stamp set and Black ink. Happy Thursday!

Watercolor and the My Anchor Stamp Set create the perfect card using Calypso . This card will be perfect for a good co-worker at the end of the school year. I also used Poppy, Crystal Blue and Black Close to My Heart ink .

I need a thank you card for some students to sign to send to a Grant I received this year to purchase Ipads for the library. This 5 x 7 card using the CTMH Florence paper packet is perfect. I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge  to create the sentiment square along with a retired stamp set Thank You . Have a great Tuesday!

Oh Baby! We have hit a wave of friends having babies this last month. I am so glad I have the Georgie  paper pack on hand to make Congratulations  cards. I made this card using Georgie, some retired gems, Whisper Thick Twine and Grey Wool Ink.

Close to My Heart Consultant, Mary Gunn, used The Long Way Home stamp set to create a fun cop chase car. I used the idea and used my own take on it! I thought this would be a fun card to give to remind someone to slow down, enjoy the ride and vacation is right around the corner!

Happy Saturday!!! The sun is shinning and birds are chirping so I spent some quiet time in my craft room this morning. I have a friend moving to California so I used the White Daisy Circle Spin Cards  along with the Sprintime Wishes stamp set and my ShinHan markers. 

My college roommate's grandmother just died so I wanted to drop a card in the mail to her. I used paper from a May special a couple of years ago and used the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge .

Happy Throwback Thursday! Today I decided to use my Cricut Artfully Sent  cartridge and the retired Lollydoodle paper pack to make this Thank You  card. I also grabbed some washi tape to add some dimension to the card.

I used a retired card base to create this fun Thank You card. I used the following Close to My Heart products: Blossom Paper Packet (retired) Cricut Artistry Cartridge Springtime Wishes stamp set (retired) Sunset Cardstock Lagoon Cardstock Sunset Ink Glacier Ink Smoothie Ink

Sometimes it is nice to have a general card that you can grab for any occasion. I also hate to waste anything! I used the odd size circles that were cut out to create a top for a Father's Day card last week. I used coordinating Paper Fundamentals paper to create this card.

Button balloon cards have been popular for a few years. I finally decided to try it today. I used a piece of glitter paper from Close to My Heart and grabbed my large jar of buttons. I applied a circle of liquid glass and added the buttons. I then created two balloon strings with Whisper Thick and White Daisy Twine .

The Magical paper pack from CTMH and the June Stamp of the Month are the perfect combination for a fun end of the year teacher card! The Stamp of the Month is available for only $5 with any $50 purchase. I used Black, Cranberry, Whisper and Honey Ink along with some Whisper Thick Twine. Happy Sunday! Today I had time to create one last Father's Day Card. I used the Urban paper pack and the Circut Artistry cartridge. This is a little different card but was fun to make. We are off to the lake so have a fabulous Sunday!

Calypso   is a fun summer paper pack. I thought it was perfect to make a simple hello  card to send to a friend I have not seen in awhile. The sheet of picture my life cards in the paper pack are great to add to the front of cards. I also added some Whisper Thick Twine and the white sequins from the Calypso Sequins. One more Father's Day card! My brother-in-law has two Daschund dogs along with kids. I decided to make him this fun Father's Day card using the Cricut Artistry cartridge and the Paper Fundamentals paper. 

Today's Throwback Thursday is not that old! It comes from the recently retired Regetta paper pack and complements. I added the sentiment from the Artfully Sent stamp set (available with Artfully Sent Cartridge only).

This morning I decided to make a deconstructed card. There is power in cutting something complete into piece!!! I took my card base and cut a 1" strip and 1 1/4" strip off. I then made the 1" strip 3" long. I used it to attach to the two long pieces back together. It was fun! I used the Florence paper pack, Poppy Thick Twine and a retired stamp set for the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped on the inside of the card but shows through the deconstructed front. Happy Wednesday!!!
