Oh Deer! 3-D Card

I am trying to make Christmas cards for all the teachers in our building. I also wanted to make some fun 3-D cards at the same time. I found this great blog that gives detailed instructions on how to make 3-D cards. I created this card using the Oh Deer! paper pack and the Woodland Wishes thin cuts and stamps. I also embossed the white stars. I wanted to emboss them in gold but could not find my gold embossing powder this morning!

Charlotte Drapery Card

I have been wanting to create a drapery fold card for some weeks now. I finally had time to create one this morning after school drop-off. There are tutorials all over the internet but I had to play with the one's I found to get the right size. My card was 3 3/4" x 3 3 3/4". (I had to cut it down my card to fit after I folded!). My strip of paper from the Charlotte  paper packet 3" by 6". I then scored the paper at 3", 3 1/4", 4", 4 1/4" and 5", 5 1/4". I then marked 7/8" up the paper and cut at an angle from the first fold. Happy Birthday Card

I am working on a card pack for Simon's teacher for Christmas. I am creating all the cards out of the Swan Lake paper pack. Today I used Swan Lake and the Wise Guy  stamp set along with some white enamel gems. This is an easel card which is so easy to make. The card base is cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 2 1/4" and 5 1/2". It is folded to create a mountain. The card face is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Here is the tutorial I used for measurements.

ABC Blog Hop-O is for Old

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter O. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their O element will be featured in their post. If you came from Lauren's Blog then you're on the right track!  My letter O is for OLD today. I used the old CTMH products. The paper pack Skylark, an old card base and old twill ribbon.
