Teacher Appreciation Card


Teacher Appreciation week is coming up the week of May 2nd and I want to have cards on hand for my son to give his teacher, music teacher and PE teacher. I used the retired Chalk It Up paper packet and the Teacher Appreciation stamp set. I used the retired Lagoon ink and Cranberry ink for the apple heart. 

Tomorrow I will show you how to make the every popular shaker cards.

Charlotte Drapery Card

I have been wanting to create a drapery fold card for some weeks now. I finally had time to create one this morning after school drop-off. There are tutorials all over the internet but I had to play with the one's I found to get the right size. My card was 3 3/4" x 3 3 3/4". (I had to cut it down my card to fit after I folded!). My strip of paper from the Charlotte  paper packet 3" by 6". I then scored the paper at 3", 3 1/4", 4", 4 1/4" and 5", 5 1/4". I then marked 7/8" up the paper and cut at an angle from the first fold. Happy Birthday Card

I am working on a card pack for Simon's teacher for Christmas. I am creating all the cards out of the Swan Lake paper pack. Today I used Swan Lake and the Wise Guy  stamp set along with some white enamel gems. This is an easel card which is so easy to make. The card base is cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and then scored at 2 1/4" and 5 1/2". It is folded to create a mountain. The card face is cut at 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Here is the tutorial I used for measurements.
